Biography
Shannon Berg is an Associate with the Centre for Clinical Epidemiology and Evaluation (C2E2). She is the Executive Director, Primary and Community Health with Alberta Health, Government of Alberta, and is a registered occupational therapist in Alberta, with more than 30 years of experience in the health care industry. She holds a PhD in Health Services Research, and a MSc in Health Services Planning and Administration, both from University of British Columbia. She is a clinical assistant professor at the University of British Columbia Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy and adjunct faculty with the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine. Her research interests are in the areas of primary and community care, and integration/bridging of the academic research and policy/clinical environments.
